Booking Your Installation: Once you’ve completed your pergola order online, our dedicated team will reach out to you to schedule a convenient installation date. We aim to work around your schedule, making the process as hassle-free as possible.

Agreement to Pre-Installation Advice: To ensure a successful installation, please note that by selecting and paying for our Pergola and Installation service, you are agreeing to our comprehensive Pergola Pre-Installation Advice, as detailed below. Adhering to these guidelines is essential, as deviations may result in additional fees for our team to return and make necessary adjustments.

INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS

  • When installing an Aluminium louvred roof pergola, it’s crucial to consider the natural fall of your existing surface. This ensures effective rain drainage through the pergola’s drainage system, providing a seamless outdoor experience.
  • When considering the location for installing your pergola, it is important to note that the pergola needs to be secured onto a sturdy smooth surface such as: concrete, paving slabs or decking.
  • Prior to installation, it’s important to confirm that your measurements are accurate and that your chosen area has a flat surface with a maximum of 1:80 fall, as per building regulations. Typically, your patio should already comply with this requirement. However, if you require a different fall, please notify us in advance. We can fit the Pergola with packers to accommodate this change. Our installers can adjust the legs to sit flat using spacers up to 50mm without affecting your warranty. It’s worth noting that a 1:80 fall over a distance of 3410mm equates to 42mm.
  • For the optimal fit of deluxe screens, a fall of 10mm is recommended to ensure smooth operation. If the fall exceeds this, packers or adjustments may be necessary.
  • If you need to make specific modifications such as lowering the height of the structure to accommodate different levels, steps, or walls, we can provide this service for an additional fee.
  • Surfaces We Can Fix To: Please make sure to refer to the Ground Fixing Sheet explanatory document for further details. Our skilled team is trained to securely fix pergolas to a variety of surfaces, including: Concrete, Paving slabs, Porcelain tiles, Wood decking, composite decking,

Note:

For porcelain tiles: Our Team uses diamond drill bits and are extremely careful. However, we cannot be held responsible if tiles are cracked when drilling down due to how the surface has been laid or where the legs are required to sit close to grout lines. Fixing the Pergola to porcelain tiles will incur an additional fee due to the expense of using the correct tools and the added time taken to complete this work carefully.

Height measurements for any pergola going over doors: The measurements below are from the floor up to the top of the door, as you will need to clear the height of the Pergola to be able to open and close your doors. Alvaro 234 cms, Rota 234 cms, Maranza 212 cms.

Measurements for the Pergola:Please ensure that you have downloaded the floor plan for the Pergola you have ordered from our website and that you have measured your space correctly for where each leg will fall. (If you have lights, sockets or boiler flu obstructing where the Pergola is to be built, these must be removed in preparation for the installation).

Deluxe Screens: Please be aware the screens are not designed to be pulled down permanently; you will need to retract these when the Pergola is not in use. The warranty won’t cover any damage caused by misuse of the screens. We always recommend you have the roof blades slightly ajar if there is wind or snow forecast in your area to allow airflow through the Pergola.

Additional Electrical Accessories: Please note that our install team are not trained electricians, so it’s important to organise your local electrician to fit any of our electrical heaters you may have ordered.

Pergola Flashing: If you wish to add flashing to the Pergola to create a seal between your property and the Pergola, please be aware that this is not part of the design and is an addition to the Pergola. Our installation team will do their best to fit the flashing as best they can to your property, but we cannot guarantee that it will work on every surface. This is an addition to the Pergola and not part of the Pergola, so the warranty does not cover it.

If you have chosen to remove the back legs on the Pergola to have them on wall brackets, you will need to be aware that this may cause rain to enter near the house as the legs are the drains for the Pergola. This is classed as a modification of the Pergola and is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

PERGOLA PRE-INSTALLATION ADVICE

Before our installation team arrives, please ensure you have completed and followed the following actions. Note: If you have contacted us for advice or recommendations on the size that will work for your space, you must check your space before proceeding with your order.

  • Decide the exact location and positioning of your Pergola in advance.
  • Ensure the location and positioning you have chosen is adequate for the Pergola you have ordered. Refer back to the dimensions specified on your order.
  • Ensure the site is accessible, free from obstacles, and that no windows, doors, guttering, or tree branches will be impeded once the Pergola is assembled.
  • Ensure the grounds upon which your Pergola is to be constructed is level and solid, and any uneven bumps are levelled and smoothed before the arrival of our team. Any additional works noticed to be required can be subject to fees as stated in our General Terms and Conditions. The ground beneath the Pergola can be hard surfaces such as concrete, slabs and paving or soft surfaces such as decking. If the ground is soft, such as grass, or pavers on sand bed we recommend that 30x30x30cm concrete pads are inserted underneath surface at floor plate position to enable our installers to secure the fixture safely.
  • Outback 365 are not liable for the adequate preparation of ground services, you must give reasonable settling time for any preparation works to solidify or settle before agreeing to an installation date.
  • Ensure that all grounding works have been discussed with our sales team in advance so we are aware of the surface you want to construct on.
  • Ensure that there is someone available to greet our team upon arrival and show them to the site where you wish the Pergola to be installed and constructed. Our team will advise the time of completion, which is subject to no issues arising, as stated in our General Terms and Conditions.
  • Each individual job or installation requires customer sign-off upon completion. We take no responsibility for any preventable damages/faults to the pergolas that are not within reason of a manufacturer fault. This includes but is not limited to naturally occurring ground movements, extreme weather conditions, tampering with the structure, movement or re-structure of the area within close proximity of the Pergola.
  • Outback 365 will not be liable for any damage that occurs to your decking, patio, paving, garden to general property from the use of bolts, anchoring or other such materials needed to secure your item.
  • Outback 365 takes no responsibility for items damaged by wind if securing of the Pergola via bolts, anchors and other devices is refused by the customer. Refusing the secure fitting will be at the risk entirely of the customer and any third parties that should be in contact with the Pergola.

and our General Terms and Conditions.
  • Our Pergola Installation service is carried out by a two-person delivery and installation team who will unpack your items, construct them in the agreed location and remove any such waste and packaging from the construction.
