What is the Jacuzzi® SmartTub® System?
SmartTub® is Jacuzzi’s connected technology that allows you to control, monitor and maintain your hot tub or swim spa from your smartphone, tablet or smart home device. Whether you want to adjust temperature, schedule heating, check energy usage or receive alerts, SmartTub® gives you easy access wherever you are.
The system uses a patented cellular connection unique to Jacuzzi® meaning your hot tub stays connected even if your home Wi-Fi doesn’t reach outdoors.
SmartTub® is fitted as a small hardware module inside your spa and activated through the SmartTub® app, available on Apple App Store and Google Play.

Using the SmartTub® System While on Vacation
SmartTub® provides peace of mind when you’re away from home. Vacation Mode maintains a lower temperature and continues essential filtration, ensuring that your hot tub stays safe, protected and ready for use when you return.
You can also view status updates, check temperatures and adjust settings from anywhere. If anything needs attention, SmartTub® sends an automatic notification to your phone.

SmartTub® Pricing & Subscription
The SmartTub® retrofit kit for Jacuzzi® Hot Tubs and Swim Spas costs £399 (inc VAT).

Your first six months of app use are free.
After that, the annual SmartTub® subscription is US $50 per year (approximately £40-£45, depending on exchange rates).

Can I Install the SmartTub® System on a Non-Jacuzzi Hot Tub?
No.
SmartTub® is exclusive to Jacuzzi® Hot Tubs and Swim Spas and cannot be fitted to models from other brands.
What Sensors are Available with Enhanced Monitoring?
SmartTub® offers optional sensors for added protection:
Cover Sensor – detects when your cover is opened.
Water Sensor – alerts you to leaks or flooding near the spa’s components.
Drain & Refill Sensor – monitors low water level and automatically confirms when refilling is complete.
